TEACHER DEVELOPMENT
The teachers at Matija Gubec are very cognisant of the philosophy promoted by the International Baccalaureate Organisation and they enthusiastically and successfully deliver MYP programme.
It is commendable that each year the school administration allocate a considerable amount of funds for teacher development. Each year the teachers attend the IBO conference and they follow English language courses in the summer in England. They also attend Croatian seminars and workshop for teachers organised by the Ministry of Education.
The teachers understand the benefits of teamwork therefore they meet each week to discuss school affairs and to plan stimulate units, themes and events.
